1. Hiking – Fernie caters to all hiking abilities try relaxing strolls through the old growth cedar forest, epic mountain views from the top of the chair lift at Fernie Alpine Resort or 20 k hikes through waterfalls, caves and various bowels of different eco systems
2. Skiing . Fernie boasts the most powder in the southern tip of the Canadian Rockies. We have four large scenic alpine bowls catering mainly to intermediate & advanced riding and 2 world class cat skiing operations. If you want to experience less crowds and lots of snow this is the place for you
3. Mountain Biking. With over 120 cross country mountain bike trails directly from town and down hill riding at Fernie Alpine Resort Fernie is fast becoming known as a mini moab!
